Facebook CEO becomes a graduate
Shortly after his graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 25, Zuckerberg updated his degree status on Facebook.
Twelve years after dropping out of school, Mark Zuckerberg graduates from college.
The Founder of Facebook left Havard to work full time with Facebook and seeing as the app has surpassed all of our dreams, it was only logical for him to return to school and finish what he started.
Shortly after his graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 25, Zuckerberg updated his degree status on Facebook, sharing a photo of himself and his parents, Edward and Karen Zuckerberg.
He wrote, “Mom, I always told you I’d come back and get my degree.”
Back in 2004, Zuckerberg built what was then called “The Facebook” in his college dormitory.
The service which was first limited only to Harvard students quickly expanded to other Ivy League universities and beyond.
Born May 14, 1984, the American computer programmer's net worth is currently put at $61.9 billion.
Congrats to him!
