FUNAAB BLACK MONDAY

www.facebook.com It is with a heavy heart I am writing this article in respect to the
death of our beloved sister, Maria Atere (RIP) who passed on last night
due to the ghastly accident she had along the Ogun/Osun Road
complicated by the negligence of our own school health service. What a
loss!.
I would want us to remember a similar accident that happened to a
student of University of Ibadan, which was also caused by the lack of
interest shown by the health workers in the school, I can say this is
nothing good for a country that is under the process of rebuilding itself
but indirectly/directly killing the vibe of its youth.
I realised to know that similar occurrence like this has taken place in
years back due to the same course because :
1. Nurses can't give any patient any treatment/first aid treatment
unless the doctor is around and approves such.
2. Doctors would like to see the patient they would like to administer
before they can take any step regardless of the extremity and
promptness of such.
Is this the way this things are supposed to be, "NO" I'll say. I'll want
us to know that until things are done right in respect to the
circumstances around it, we would still not be able to achieve our aims
and objectives in this country.
